Israeli employment programme changed after protest |

Unions and community organisations have attempted to organise and represent participants in ‘workfare’ and ‘work first’ employment programmes, but these attempts have not always been successful. In Israel, protests helped bring about changes in an employment programme modelled after the Wisconsin Works programme and partly operated by Dutch companies.
