Once you have registered and are logged into Union Ideas Network, you can set up a free personalised UIN home-page - use this to provide more details about yourself and interests to others in the ‘network’. Also, all your submitted articles and forums postings will be automatically listed on your profile page.
To go to your profile page, go to ‘My Profile’ in the ‘Register / Submit’ menu or click here.
In the top left-hand corner of your profile page you will see an ‘Edit’ button. Click this and you will have three options:
Update your profile
Update your image
Remove image
Update your profile
Here you will find a number of ‘tabs’; contact info, about me, newsletter, and publications. For institutions there is an additional ‘tab’.
Complete the appropriate fields and click the ‘update’ button below.
Update your image
Simply press the ‘browse’ button and locate the image you wish to upload from your hard drive. The image file maximum (width x height - size) is: 200x500 - 100 KB. Click ‘update’ and your image will be uploaded. Note, all images are subject to approval. We recommend a personal photo but you might prefer to use your institutions logo.
Remove image
Click this if you want to remove your image.
