Abstract from MSc Health Psychology dissertation investigating the potential for collaboration between trade unions (particularly in organising campaigns) and community health psychologists. Although described as key "stakeholders" in the conventional work-related stress literature, this research explored whether trade union activity secured through employer recognition could be defined as "socially supportive" and therefore health-promoting.
