Union Modernisation Fund Seminar - 29 January 2007 - 01/12/2006 11:19
The TUC, together with the Union Ideas Network and Unions 21, will be hosting a seminar on the UMF at Congress House on 29 January 2007.
The purpose of the seminar is to look at progress so far on the Union Modernisation Fund, highlighting some of the projects which have been supported during Round One and providing a broader context for discussions around modernisation. It will also give unions an opportunity to discuss potential ideas for Round Two, building on the experience of unions from Round One.
The seminar will be chaired by Sir Bill Connor, Chair of the UMF Supervisory Board. Speakers include: Employment Relations Minister Jim Fitzpatrick MP, TUC Deputy General Secretary Frances O’Grady, TGWU National Organiser Diana Holland and Community Head of Policy John Lloyd.
