I want to thank those who helped with this question. I still can't understand how it became organizing VS partnership, but I've been chasing this story for a while because I think it's such an important one for the rest of the labour movement to come to grips with. Myself and a local labour researcher have just written a piece on what lessons can be taken from the New Unionism experience which might interest some of you (and/or enfuriate a few others?).
