Amicus - Research Officer Vacancies - 22/02/2006 05:16
Amicus - Research Officer Vacancies Vacancies exist for Research Officers within Amicus, the largest general trade union representing over 1.2 million members.
The Research Department provides advice and support to Amicus Officers and shop stewards on a full range of work-related issues across all the sectors for which the Union is responsible. These include Manufacturing & Construction, Equality, Health & Safety, Finance, Public Sector and Not for Profit. It is also responsible for preparing Union submissions and briefings on a wide range of policy issues as well as producing industry specific publications and guidance notes. The Department works closely with other Union services including Communications, International, Legal and the Political Department.
