The Centre for Industrial Relations at Keele has long provided students passing through its doors support and encouragement to critically examine developments in the field of industrial relations. It has trained many leading academics. Its closure is inconceivable and one wonders if the management agenda here is politically and ideologically inspired. I fully support the UCU at Keele resist closure 'proposals'.
