I have taught in 3 British Universities. I have developed Access for adult students. I have managed/taught on a BA Trade Union Studies degree.

I have developed a web site aimed at students, which reflects my teaching of the sociology of work, and my research interests.

I have done research in City Banks on young and middle managers. I have researched British (Japanes owned) factories.

This aims to give a clear introductory account of research on pad, and unpaid, work. The text book is called "Why Work?" There is also more advanced materials, which are interactive.
