My main interests include the breakdown of the German model, new opportunity structures for unions locally and transnationally, and union efforts to engage with economic development.  The industries I look at include aerospace, automotive, construction and health care.  Within these substantive areas, I am exploring the extent to which unions have taken neoliberalism onboard into their strategies, and the ways in which unions can still innovate in public policy.
