What could reducing employee stress possibly have to do with saving the environment and the regeneration of communities you might ask? Stress has become a major issue for most employers, many of whom still claim that stress is a ‘shirker’s disease’ and assert that stress is not their problem but an issue employees have to deal with themselves. Thankfully more and more employers now realise their legal duties and are realising the considerable benefits that effective stress management can have on their profit margins, so are implementing initiatives to minimise stress in their workforce.
